Renovation of an apartment in this iconic Mt Eden tower. The Pines apartment takes a colour, material, and detail palette that is informed by the client’s fascination with Moroccan architecture, as well as being sympathetic to the period styles typical of The Pines building. The bold colours and cabinetry pieces are synthesised with period trim profiles, panelling, and hidden passages to make a home that is playful and also sophisticated.
